Even then they are inseperable part of the society. They are living in poor living conditions. They are followers of rich culture and tradition which adorns the rainbow of Indian Culture

One Has to carry his sick family members ona wooden cot, sometimes 10-15 kms, trekking the uneven hills and forest tracks to reach the nearest medical center to get treatment.
Gifted by abundant natural resources our janjati brothers can rise to higher living conditions provided they are given proper guidance and training in modern technology.
If opportunity is provided to tribal(janjati) youth can win international awards in sports. Mary Kom of Manipur is one such example. Kalyan Ashram started National Tribal Sports Festival in 1988. So far six such festivals have been organised.
